SANDUSKY, Ohio (ADAMS) – Sea World Entertainment wants to purchase the parent company of Cedar Point. Cedar Fair is confirming this week that they have received and are considering an offer to purchase the company.
Sea World’s offer is reported to be approximately $3.4 billion dollars for the company whose holdings include Cedar Point, Kings Island and eleven other theme parks. Sea World currently operates eight theme parks and four water parks across the country.
