HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – West Nile Virus has been found in Huntington County.
The health department says mosquito samples from the county tested positive for the virus.
Now, health officials are asking everyone to protect themselves from mosquitos. This means avoiding outdoor activities when mosquitoes are most active, wearing long sleeves and pants, and using a DEET repellent.
