WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Purdue University is announcing its new football head coach.
Ryan Walters will take on the role after serving two seasons as the defensive coordinator at the University of Illinois and coaching at Memphis, North Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Colorado.
The 36-year-old becomes the fourth-youngest coach in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. A welcome event is being held for Walters at noon today.
