2FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department says they rescued a man from a pond Monday afternoon on the northeast side of the city. Initially called to the 4200 block of Fieldbrook Pass around 3:15 p.m., they sprang into action, getting the man out of the water and starting CPR.
A witness who was at the scene advised on where they had last seen the man. He was taken to an area hospital, although the FWFD says his condition is currently unknown.

The Fort Wayne fire department responded to a call of a person in distress in a local pond. The fire department started a water rescue response around 3:15. Crews arrived and were met by a witness who was able to show where the subject was last scene. Divers entered the pond and were able to pull the man from the water and was immediately transported to an area hospital. Conditions are not known at this time
