FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department says that after a 17-year hiatus, the Citizens’ Police Academy will return.
25 people will be able to get an up-close look at what our bravest men and women do each day in the Summit City.

The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is proud to announce the return of its Citizens’ Police Academy (CPA) after a 17-year hiatus. The program offers residents a hands-on look at FWPD operations, from patrol and investigations to K9 demonstrations and CSI techniques.
Dates: Thursdays, October 2nd – November 13th
Location: Public Safety Academy, 7602 Patriot Crossing, Fort Wayne, IN
Cost: free
Applications will be accepted from September 1st through the 18th online.
Space is limited to 25 participants.
