INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A federal review has found 21 non-U.S. citizens cast ballots in Indiana.
The review found 165 noncitizens were registered to vote in the state among 4.8 million registered voters.
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita and Secretary of State Diego Morales sued the federal government to force the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to verify the citizenship of over 585,000 registered voters.
The federal review did not indicate when the 21 noncitizens voted.
