FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department says that a woman was critically hurt Thursday afternoon when she was hit by a vehicle close to Parkview Randallia.
It happened just after 12:15 p.m. at East State Boulevard and Leroy Avenue. Police say the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

On March 5, 2026, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to assist Parkview Police with a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash in front of Parkview Hospital. The pedestrian, an adult female, was immediately transported into the Parkview Emergency Room by medical staff, where she was determined to be in life-threatening condition.
Preliminary information indicates the pedestrian was crossing State Street southbound at Leroy Avenue when a vehicle traveling south on Leroy turned westbound onto State Street and struck her. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
