Komet’s lift the spirits of Lutheran’s smallest patients

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Komets brought big smiles to some of the smallest patients at Lutheran Hospital on Wednesday.

Players hand-delivered stuffed animals from their Teddy Bear Toss, spreading comfort and joy.

The players arrived with arms full of fuzzy companions, hand-delivering the stuffed animals collected during the team’s recent Teddy Bear Toss event.

It was a heart-warming afternoon of smiles, as these “small” gifts brought a big sense of comfort to our patients. We are so proud to see the generosity of the fans go directly into the hands of those who need it most.
