AG Todd Rokita (R) Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Attorney General Todd Rokita is being investigated by the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.
The law firm representing Rokita filed a petition to appear before the commission as part of that investigation.
The exact reason for the investigation has not been made public. It is however believed to be linked to comments Rokita made about Indianapolis OB/GYN Caitlin Bernard, who legally performed an abortion on a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio.
The nine-member panel is able to punish attorneys over grievances and can levy sanctions or revoke law licenses depending on the outcoming of an investigation.
