COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Walmart is issuing a recall for a room spray sold in its stores in Ohio and online over a possible bacterial infection.
The company sent the recall notice this week about possibly dangerous bacteria found in Better Homes & Gardens Essential Oil Infused Aromatherapy Room Spray With Gemstones.
The room spray is sold six fragrances with the CDC saying it found melioidosis bacteria, which can cause a potentially fatal disease, in a bottle of the lavender and chamomile scented spray.
Customers who purchased the spray should return the bottle to Walmart for a full refund and a 20-dollar gift card by double-bagging it in a zip-top bag and packaging it in a cardboard box.
