FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Lunch on the Square will return for ten weeks throughout the summer for the 16th season.
Downtown Fort Wayne released the following:
Take a break from the office or bring the family down to enjoy lunch at Freimann Square every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., beginning Thursday, May 30, and extending to Thursday, August 8, except Thursday, July 4. Enjoy a variety of unique foods and experience live music during one of Fort Wayne’s favorite lunch and entertainment series.
Lunch on the Square, presented by Downtown Fort Wayne and Edward Jones, will return for ten weeks throughout the summer for the 16th season in DTFW: bit.ly/LOTS24

Lunch Means More, an initiative to give back to a local nonprofit, will be integrated into the event for its third season. Barnes & Thornburg will match 15% of the sales from a weekly featured food provider at the event. The featured food provider will rotate each week and be announced publicly via social media @downtownfortwayne. On Thursday, August 8, Barnes & Thornburg and Downtown Fort Wayne will present a check for the total amount raised during the 10-week series to the selected nonprofit organization, Blessings in a Backpack.
Blessings in a Backpack, a Fort Wayne 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, “mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children who might otherwise go hungry.” To learn more about Blessings in a Backpack, its mission, and additional ways to support its work, please go to BlessingsIndiana.org.
