FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Science Central will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 17th, at 10:30 AM to unveil the new Power Playground Exhibit.
Visit Science Central to experience this unique exhibit, which allows visitors to explore electricity. The Power Playground exhibit was created by an engineering and design class from PFW’s Engineering Department.
Science Central released the following:
Visitors will be invited to build a complete circuit connection by moving color-coded blocks, each with different elements that, when placed in a specific order, will power various features such as fans, lights, and speakers.
The students who designed this exhibit, along with their professor, will attend a special ceremony to acknowledge the hard work and creativity of the PFW engineering team and to reveal Science Central’s new exhibit, Power Playground, to the public.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Science Central on the top level of the exhibit floor. Guests, students, and media who want to attend should RSVP by getting a ribbon-cutting-only ticket.
