ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says to expect lane restrictions starting Monday for bridge construction over I-69.
Starting on or after May 19, crews will be working on Lower Huntington Road over I-69. Work on the project is expected to last until the end of November. During construction, there will be lane shifts with traffic directed by flaggers.
INDOT released the following:
In addition to restrictions on Lower Huntington Road, from May 19 to approximately June 6, there will be alternating lane closures in both directions of I-69 between I-469 and Branstrator Road. Lane restrictions will only be in place Sundays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
