The Indiana State Police Fort Wayne Post Troopers conducted a Wolfpack patrol in Allen County last Friday, August 23, 2025. The wolfpack patrol is a high visibility, targeted patrol that focuses on proactive policing and criminal interdiction that begins with traffic stops. Along with the normal calls for service, 10 Indiana State Police patrol units made an impact in their community on Friday evening by issuing 79 traffic contacts (tickets and warnings). They made three OWI arrests and seven drug related arrests. They stopped three drivers who had never been licensed and three others that were suspended. One person was arrested on a warrant.
Part of the mission of the Indiana State Police is to improve the quality of life for all Hoosiers through enforcement efforts. We continue to prioritize proactive enforcement efforts aimed at keeping our roadways safe. Friday’s targeted patrol resulted in the successful removal of illegal drugs, as well as intoxicated, unlicensed, and suspended drivers. By targeting these dangerous behaviors, we are working diligently to reduce risks on our roads and create a safer environment for all who live, work, and travel through our community.
