• The 20th season premiere of “Thursday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. Eastern on Amazon. The Buffalo Bills host the Detroit Lions at Highmark Stadium.
• The series premiere of “The Traitors: New Blood” at 8:00 p.m. on NBC. Alan Cumming once again opens the doors of his castle in the Scottish Highlands in this spin-off of his reality competition “The Traitors”. But there will be no celebrities in this one. All the contestants are average Americans who are new to being on TV. (Trailer)
• Episode 9 of “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” on HBO Max.
• Episode 9 of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Season 4 on Paramount+.
• The second season premiere of “Stranger Things: Tales from ’85” on Netflix.
• “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” on Netflix. Charlie Hunnam and Rebecca Hall are Lizzie Borden’s parents and Lizzie is played by Ella Beatty, the daughter of Annette Bening and Warren Beatty. (Trailer)
